Fiction

Nick's first novel was published in November 2008.  Called 'Golden Daze' it has nothing to do with canals or walking.  Instead, it combines football with a year in the life of a 21 one year old who graduates on the day of the 1983 General Election to become one of Margaret Thatcher's three million unemployed.  As he ponders his future and begins to work out what he wants to do with his life his football team, with whom he has grown up, begin the most fantastic adventure in their history.  As they edge closer towards an FA Cup Final at Wembley so he too homes in on the secret to life, work and women.

Golden Daze

Previously, Nick has written short stores, some of which have been read on LBC Radio.  Hhe is currently working on his second novel.  Watch this space for more details as they emerge!
